Examinations
In Antrim Grammar School we firmly believe that the development of effective study skills is crucial in enabling all pupils to learn efficiently and independently. Our aim is to ensure that every pupil acquires this essential and transferable set of life skills, which will support their academic journey and future endeavours.
Pupils in Antrim Grammar will develop their own personal approach to study and learning through all aspects of the curriculum including:
- Timetabled subjects including Careers and Learning for Life and Work
- Pupil and Parent Information Evenings
- Pastoral Time
- Assemblies
- Learning Support involvement
- Peer support
- AGS Way to Revise
At Antrim Grammar School, pupils will be guided to use the AGS Way to Revise — a structured approach that introduces a variety of proven revision techniques. This framework empowers each pupil to explore and adopt the methods that best suit their individual learning style. By developing personalised study strategies, pupils are better equipped to retain knowledge, build confidence, and ultimately reach their full academic potential.
